On Nov. 12, the Ninth Annual High School Educators Accounting Symposium will take place at the Sheraton Hotel in Madison. Forensic accounting is this year's theme. The deadline for registration is Oct. 29, 2010. Read speaker biographies and obtain a registration form.

Survey: Accounting majors are satisfied with career path

Half of accounting majors said they were "satisfied" or "very satisfied" with their careers, among the highest percentage of any major, according to a survey conducted by PayScale.com. Psychology majors, however, ranked last, with only 26% saying they were satisfied with their field of study.
